Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Mass Behavioral Health Center is a safe, structured program, typically available after discharge from an acute inpatient program or as a diversion from inpatient hospitalization.

Our PHP is a higher level of care than traditional outpatient services. PHP is a daily program, Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patients usually participate in PHP for anywhere from 5-20 days, depending on their symptoms and treatment needs. Upon completion of PHP, patients are typically referred to appropriate aftercare, such as traditional outpatient therapy and medication management.

Our PHP uses the most advanced techniques and experienced clinicians to help stabilize participants and improve daily functioning. With the help of licensed clinicians and our nursing team, patients benefit from a comprehensive multidisciplinary care model and an individualized treatment plan to achieve an exceptional quality of care.
