Jeisaly Torres Santiago, MSW

Jeisaly obtained a bachelor's degree in education from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico in 2015, and later pursued a master’s degree in clinical social work at the same university. Currently, Jeisaly is actively working on completing a doctoral dissertation in Business Administration and Management, with a specific focus on Mindfulness and emotional management within the workplace. In addition to these academic achievements, Jeisaly holds professional certifications in Cognitive Neuroscience applied to Mindfulness, as well as certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy). Furthermore, Jeisaly also serves as a university professor alongside her clinical practice.

With over five years of experience in the field of mental health, Jeisaly has provided individual and group therapy to individuals across various age groups including children, adolescents, and adults. Utilizing evidence-based interventions, Jeisaly has successfully treated conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, grief, stress-related issues, trauma, substance use disorders as well as various personality disorders. When working with each patient individually, Jeisaly places great emphasis on understanding their unique needs and strengths. This allows for the creation of personalized treatment plans that provide them with the necessary tools to improve their mental health effectively. Finally, Jeisaly's aim is for every patient to acquire valuable skills that will enable them to continue enhancing their emotional well-being while developing effective problem-solving techniques along the way.
