Lisa Storey, MA, LMHC
Lisa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a graduate from Framingham State University. She is currently the director of clinical services for MBHC. She has 30 years’ experience working in the mental health field as both a therapist and clinical supervisor and manager. Her past professional roles include working in outpatient clinics, public schools, college settings, and town youth and family agencies. Lisa’s style is to provide a warm, genuine, collaborative and interactive supportive environment which provides the foundation for clients to start their healing and personal growth journey. Lisa’s clinical approach can be seen as evidence based, person centered, strength based, and she has experience in various counseling modalities such as, CBT, ACT, DBT and trauma focused care. Lisa has experience working with all ages and has extensive crisis management skills and knowledge around adolescents and young adults struggling with self-harm and safety issues. Lisa enjoys working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationships struggle, grief, and everyday life stressors to name a few.
